FROM NANA'S KITCHEN TO THE CAROLINA COAST

Some of my earliest and happiest memories were made in my Nana's kitchen.

I grew up under her apron, watching as she prepared the delicious Sonoran food that 

brought our family together. Her kitchen was always filled with incredible aromas, conversation, laughter and, most importantly, love.

I learned early that food is about so much more than what's on the plate. It's about gathering around the table, sharing stories, creating memories and making sure everyone leaves with a full belly and an even fuller heart.

Those memories are at the heart of Macitas Mexican.

After growing up with the flavors and traditions of Sonoran cooking in Southern California, I'm excited to bring a little piece of home to the Carolina coast. Macitas is my way of sharing the food I love while creating the same feeling my Nana's kitchen always gave me — a place where family and friends come together over a home-cooked meal.

Nothing fills my heart more than a kitchen full of family 

and friends enjoying good food, laughing and making memories together.
